I was thinking about cap updates recently...(well...actually all the time...)
trying to figure out speed of applications processing, amount of applications received, caps count based on our spreadsheet.

and following are my assumptions...
1) good news first , up to date no caps are filled yet (they keep processing received applications and charging fees)
2) we can tell for sure that cap is filled in hot NOCS when there will be no reports about fee charges from applicants there anymore
3) my estimations are-it will be maximum next couple of days for hottest NOCs 2174 (17 report here already, which is slightly more that 5% of total amount) and till the end of this week for NOCs 1112 and 2127 (each with 6 reports)
4) this forum is getting much more popular among FSW applicants than it used to be a couple of years ago!
So admins should correct our percentage from 4% to higher something like 10%, will see it later)
5) as soon as hot caps will be filled the speed of processing in other NOCs will be increased dramatically, hopefully

My bank couldnt notify me when my DD was encashed. I Received the email from CIC about the acceptance (PER).

UPDATE!!!

FINALLY RECEIVED E-MAIL WITH UCI AND PER. ;D ;D
DD was encashed 28th of June.
The UCI and PER received via e-mail on the 8th of July.

For all those paying with DD just wanna mention that I received the email with UCI and PER first, and then got information from the bank that the DD was encashed.

I would like to know what will be the process after getting PER ?? Though I have not yet recieved PER, Please someone give the deatails regarding the process after PER till we land Canada ? Please specify the timeline too...if anyone have idea about it ?? I'm just curious because I am going to start my Masters Studies (not from Canada) from September. Please help me. As I am a newbie...would you please explain what is PER and UCI :-[ :-[
