Sir,
It is clearly mentioned on the website that in order to get 23 points, Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy.
Hence, it should be 22. Please don't confuse people.
My dear friend. Please don't confuse and misguide people. That guy may lose a chance to apply because of this.
I got exactly 67 points in total with my masters contributed 23. Understand its mentioned "
Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy. Degree and master's degree has little difference. Degree can be your bachelors also. Means if a MBBS doctor applying for fsw he earn 23 points instead of 21 since he holding a
professional degree in the field of medicine even though his qualification is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
Also its clearly mentioned
University degree at the Master's level or equal OR University level entry-to-practice professional degree. Occupation related to the degree must be:
NOC 2011 Skill Level A, and
licensed by a provincial regulatory body.
You know what is mean by Skill Level A?
Skill Level A is the occupation level that mostly requires a master's degree to practice. Means its just should be a masters degree that is approved by WES.
They mentioned mentioned University degree
OR University level entry-to-practice professional degree. They are attributing the Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy with the 2nd point. Its is OR not AND. The 1st points implies only Masters degree. If you have more doubt read the Operational Bulletins where they elaborated perfectly about point distribution.
