Hi Seniors,

I am 2014 applicant. Wanted to know if anyone from 2013 batch whose VO was NDVO but was in USA on work visa at the time of PP request, raised a CSE requesting for PP stamping in US instead and could get PP successfully stamped in USA? What did NDVO respond when such a request was made? Any pointers on this will be highly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch.
Hello Friends,

Anyone having any pointers on this?

Sir,

You can ask them to advise you about the solution. I am sure when you will ask them to advise about where to submit your passport, they will tell you to submit in US somewhere.

Sir,

Form should be downloaded from WES.ORG/CA

you can check the website if it written WES USA on the top right corner. If yes then you are on WES Canada website. If it is WES Canada on the top right corner then you are on WES USA website.

You will get 23 point. It is not 22. Because in the website its clearly mentioned " University degree at the Master's level .

They award 22 points only in case its post graduate diploma. As your is masters you will get 23. I have solid proof for this because I got 23 points for my masters with same as your qualification.

Sir,

It is clearly mentioned on the website that in order to get 23 points, Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy.

Hence, it should be 22. Please don't confuse people.

Sorry mate, but I think that mistake is yours:

University degree at the Master's level or equal OR University level entry-to-practice professional degree. The list of fields of study is regarding to second option.

Thus the Master's level gets 23 points

My dear friend. Please don't confuse and misguide people. That guy may lose a chance to apply because of this.

I got exactly 67 points in total with my masters contributed 23. Understand its mentioned "Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy. Degree and master's degree has little difference. Degree can be your bachelors also. Means if a MBBS doctor applying for fsw he earn 23 points instead of 21 since he holding a professional degree in the field of medicine even though his qualification is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

Also its clearly mentioned

University degree at the Master's level or equal OR University level entry-to-practice professional degree. Occupation related to the degree must be:
NOC 2011 Skill Level A, and
licensed by a provincial regulatory body.

You know what is mean by Skill Level A?

Skill Level A is the occupation level that mostly requires a master's degree to practice. Means its just should be a masters degree that is approved by WES.

They mentioned mentioned University degree OR University level entry-to-practice professional degree. They are attributing the Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy with the 2nd point. Its is OR not AND. The 1st points implies only Masters degree. If you have more doubt read the Operational Bulletins where they elaborated perfectly about point distribution.

Because I already got PER with exactly 67 points. If I get 22 I would have ended with 66 and would have been disqualified. And it is assessed by "SUPER EXPERT VISA OFFICER". LOL
