Already got an update on my ECAS status 'We started processing your application on April 2, 2014.' when I checked it today.

I have not receive any MR request yet from Manila embassy.

Get your FBI clearance asap. Don't wait.

The FBI clearance report has 6 months validity for sure, but your application will be processed way before that.

Rather than making CIC wait, it is better to have all your documents ready.

I waited, and now I regret it, because at my interview the only document missing was the FBI clearance.

Update from me: sent pp,rprf, Pcc and umi forms yesterday. Received medical forms after a month but had completed medical using umi. Apollo refused to do medical again with forms saying umi since done after instruction is valid for one year. Fingers crossed...

Another requirement is that your FB name matches your name on the forum.

You are always welcome to join our fb group if you wish, but since our fb group is created for the purpose of Networking therefore real name in fb profile of members is essential.

BTW for most of our members, fb name doesn't match with forum name.

Received my visa stamped passport yesterday via speed post.
So, Phase 1 completed in 316 days
Validity is 2nd March 2015.
Received COPR, WES, oringinal IELTS, PCC and Employer certificates.
Thanks to all my dear forum mates!!!

With grace of Almighty Jesus, my consultant have received my passport with VISA...
Visa Valid till 19-02-15.

This forum has been a great help during this entire period. I thank all the forum members who gave me confidence during the tough time of waiting period.

The only sad thing is that i couldn't discover this wonderful forum during 2012.
If so, i would have saved 3200 CAD of consultant fees.

I wish and pray for VISA to all forum members..

Dont worry about your CAD 3200. People are carrying 3200k to get visa. Though you will earn 3200 in a month.

You are not going to get DM unless your wife has been added to your application, go through medical examination and her medical examination is successful. You will get MR for your wife first, she will go for medical examination, once her medical examination is received, her PP will be requested, then you will get DM.

if I were in your place, I would have gone through my medicals and would have sent all required forms & supporting documents of spouse to add into application along with my RPRF, her application fee & RPRF too but I would haven't sent my passport.

I would suggest you to contact your visa officer and request him/her to send your passport back as you have to travel for a valid reason. I believe you will receive back your passport but off course without PR Visa stamped.

My consultant did say not to send passport and wait till I get passport request for both.But my dilemma was that NDVO never said that I can send and my spouse documents but not send my passport and in MR email they mentioned clearly that i should be sending all else application can be rejected.
Anyways now that things are clear and I also verified from my consultant I will sending CSE to send my PP back.

Hope to get MR for my spouse soon as already its 61 days. I dont know why they are taking so much time,though i am not claiming any points for her neither employment documents are send.

Hoping all this gets in place and at right time since my Passport is required at 2 places and both very crucial.
