Hello Forum Mates

I recently discovered this forum. You guys seem to have an enormous knowledge on immigration policies and rules.

I would be very obliged if you guys can help me on my query.

I have applied under FSW 2013. My proof of funds is in the form of FD (Fixed Deposit) and I have submitted Deposit Receipt from the bank along with Bank's confirmation for my paperwork. However the maturity date on the receipt that I have submitted has expired on March 9, 2014. But the money is still in the bank.

I am done with my medicals and have been waiting for passport to be returned for more than 70 days. I am worried that maturity date being expired on the submitted paperwork is the reason of the delay or will cause a problem in stating that I actually have the right amount of funds.

Please advise. I am really worried.

You don't have to worry.. delay is not beacause of that..visa office is working is very erratic and not first in first out..so chill

I have received a mail from NDVO asking for photographs of my younger daughter and generic application form with updated details of younger child.
My passport has already reached NDVO on 25th March and RPRF encashed on March 7th (came to know from bank) and medical received on 14th March. I had sent the photographs with other documents in November for the addition of newborn. As anyone else who had updated their application with addition of new born received such a .requet for documents

do you remember Mantan, i also had my newborn as addition. my ecas changed to DM yesterday but was never asked for photographs, why have they asked for in your case???

No need to worry it will not at all affect outcome of your application...
You need to carry money in form of cash, DD or Traveller cheques at the time of landing so your FD maturity date is irrelevant now
