::) just a quick question guys, if you could please private message me the answer it would be great?

I'm having my medical exam in 2 days and I've paid my $490 permanent residence fee.

What is the next step and what is the time period before I get my actual PR and head to Canada?

Also for the medical what do they cover, is there anything I need to know prior?

Any information would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Your post looks incomplete, however I will try to answer as much as I can.

The next step after medicals is for the VO to request for your passport, if your visa office is CPP-O. If not, am guessing other VO request passport with medical and RPRF.
The medical covers xray, chest xray, urine test, blood test for HIV and hepatitis and general physical examination by the doctor, such as weight, height, eye test.

Hope this helps?

Seniors forumites and fellow CPP-O applicants,

Today makes it three weeks that I have done my medicals, and the third line of 'medical received' is yet to appear on my ecas. And also I have not heard any information from the doctor stating that my medicals has a problem. Is this ok?

How many weeks does it take CPP-O to request for passport, after medicals, payment of RPRF fee and submitting updated PCC. As today makes it one week, that I have submitted payment of RPRF fee, updated PCC and updated bank statement.

Thanks

Dear Seniors,

When you sign CIC forms, do you sign your name in native language or sign in english? Which way is correct way?

thanks!

yes much appreciated thank you.

I have not been asked for my passport as of yet just asked to perform the medical and pay the $490 fee, so i was wondering on the timeline from now.
