You should have gotten the forms within 48 hrs of the initial MR email. Now that you haven't and waited past 48 hrs, you are delaying your actions. You should send a email query as instructed on the MR email and ask them for the forms.

Thanks adrenaline. I will send an email.- my mr email doesn't mention 48 hours. May be unusual.

Dears friends,

I am from UAE I was in saudi arabia prior to UAE. I have enclosed PCC from UAE along with my app. As per LVO we have to wait get their letter to get PCC from Saudi.

getting PCC after you come out from Saudi - almost difficult. Anyone has similar experience?

Can any one suggest whether LVO requires PCC from saudi and How to get the same?

tnx.
As far as I remember you can submit the PCC request letter that you receive from LVO to Saudi embassy/consulate in UAE. It is not that difficult I guess. The saudi embassy will issue a PCC. All the best..

Anyones opinion regarding taking my girl child, now 11 years old along with me to canada in the first visit. Husband is not going to accompany. Or should I go first, clear the license exam, get a job and take her which might take atleast 6 months. I do not have any relatives, friends are there but cannot depend on them too much. Any one with a suggestion???

Thank you friend, but it is very very very difficult to leave her though for a short time, she will be relieved as there will be no "surveillance" :( :( :(

Friends,
I don't know if this was discussed before but I am sure that this question would have crossed your mind.

1. If you intend selling off property in India say in 2 or 3 years after landing, how will you bring that money to Canada?
2. Okay, I know if you are bringing more than 10,000 CAD, you must declare it using http://www.cbsa.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/e677.pdf, but will I be liable to pay tax on the money you are getting there? Remember, I have paid my taxes here too. Let's say, I have some money that is borrowed from my relatives and the amount works out to be 25,000 CAD (hypothetical figure) and I have it in the form of travellers cheque and the rest in Scotia Bank which I opened in Bangalore.
Will I be in trouble for bringing large sum of money?
Does it qualify as a large sum of money that can risk your entry to Canada?

Answering my own question for the info of others who would want to go through VFS.

1. Medical Exam proof ,DD for RPRF, Letter to the High commission, PCC & passports and the consent letter are all that you need to submit to VFS.
2. You need to write the full name of the applicants and their passport # on the back of the DD in front of the VFS officer.
2. Make it a point to be there at 7:45 AM so that being early will ensure less waits.
3. If you are submitting passports under the condition that you will collect them from VFS, then the Fee for you & Spouse is INR 1200
4. The VFS officer will provide you a long acknowledgement sheet and you need to retain it for obvious reasons.

The whole process with the VFS officer will not take more than 5 ~ 7 Mins.

Good luck Everyone.

Dear Forumites,

This question has been asked in the past, but I couldn't find the exact post and hence repeating the questions.

Apart from the VFS consent form and the documents requested such as Medical Exam proof ,DD for RPRF, Letter to the High commission, PCC & passports,, what else is required by VFS to send the documents to the High commission.
Your inputs will be invaluable to me as I am approaching VFS tomorrow morning.

Thank you,
Rao

Hi sinestra,

Indeed, I was having these questions in my mind one of these days. Following are a few links that I stored during my previous "google search n' self-learn session". I got bored in the middle and left it half-way. Of course I will have revisit this topic and conclude it for myself later. ::)

you can not put your child alone at home, so if no one you know where you can put her than your movement will be restricted (in otherthan school time)
