Just an update. Applied for FSW with arranged employment few days before May 4. It reached CIO on 29th April, 2013. Money order encashed on May 7, 2013 but still no news on PER. CIO replied on my query placed via email that my application is awaiting review from an officer. I think, they are reviewing applications for PER considering VO one has opted.

Hello Guys, I just find another Guy on Chinese forum report that his cc is charged. This is the 3rd ppl I know on Chinese forum who get their cc charged. All of them are already located in USA now and has education overseas thus they are quicker than local Chinese.
All of their application arrived at May 8 th, and NOC is 1112. so we can imagine how many 1112 have poured into CIC in the first week. I begin to worry about 1112---will it be full at May 10 th?
Now that the 26 ppl On CIC update does not include those Arrived at May 8 th, I will not be surprised to see a surprisingly high number on CIC next update.

And, unfortunately none of local Chinese applicant has ever report any news about cc charged!

dont panic my friend! When you go there, then anything seems possible, at least in one's mind.
Take it easy, it is very unlikely that any noc is done in less than 4 weeks. After all, CIC did say even those 26 apps are an ESTIMATE. That sample is so small that it is impossible and unreasonable and a waste of time trying to conclude anything from it.

And especially if you use it as a base for panic and fear. So lets just wait for at least next update...

Very sad! Same is happening in Northern parts of India recently ! 30K people and several villages were uprooted and swept away in rivers. More than 40K are missing on any records.

Hi All,

I understand it is late..Though i still want to take my chances..I have completed bachelors of computer application and working as a network system engineer. I wish to apply under the NOC 2147.
However the Employment requirements states that" Computer engineers require a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical or electronics engineering, engineering physics or computer science.".......As other than the Engineering degree they have only mentioned Computer science I am doubtful If I would fall in this category.
