hi, members hope you remember me i am permanent resident of canada since 2010,my younger brother applied in FSW 2013 he got interview by newdelhi visa office in december,he cleared his interview and did his medicals in last week of december and today he got DM ;D ;D ;D,Thanks to almighty god and to all members for your wishes,can someone tell me in how many days he will get his passport.

your brother was called for an interview in NDVO? strange.. I believe nobody from fswp 2013 has been called for an interview in NDVO.

I can say for sure that it was from NDVO. Maybe revealing about themselves depends on a case officer. Trust me when i tell you that, i haven't shared my details or plans with anyone.

Don't worry dear... Go ahead for your Medicals without tension becoz you sure that whatever documents submitted to CIC is genuine... So nothing to worry... Even if NDVO suspicious about something they will ask you for some additional employment related documents in a fixed time period to convince them....

Can someone please tell me, on average, how long did it take to receive an acknowledgement of receipt letter and communication that MI instructions have been met? Also, please confirm if the acknowledgement of receipt and meeting MI instructions are sent out in one email/communication?

I really do hope that is what CIC has instructed the local visa offices to do. That would be great news for us all.

If nothing my good news has proven to me that indeed CIC is shaking up the VO's as is telling them to process the 2013 applications within a certain time frame.....so I might have moved up a bit in the line Ashif_eee, but you others are not far behind. Of course I will keep you in my prayers.

Man am saying about CIC caps. It was only 8 applicants before last two updates on CIC websites. Suddenly it goes to 124. Even the hottest NOC's 2147 & 1112 didnot jumped like this.

Am not comparing spreadsheet with CIC website.

Most probably it's a mistake done by CIC.
As per spreadsheet, we have 10 members got their PER'S under NOC 2145, so how come the cap shows only 8
(not logic... right?)
BTW, this is not the only mistake.... every cap update, they wrongly count the total number, 3831 is not the correct one ... it should be 3869.
Plus ... in the old updates CIC used to put NOC 2145 before 2144 in the schedule thats why the actual amounts were replaced and finaly they found out about their mistake.

Of course petroleum engineers are more that geological engineers ;D

Thanks for the update. There should be an initial before "program assistant" in the email you received. Can you please confirm. Cheers. I got the same response from my visa officer some time ago and want to confirm if we have the same officer reviewing our applications. Whats your NOC code?

The initial is DXS.
