Hi all,
I received MR, RPRF & PPR MAIL TODAY. The problem is that i am in uk and they clearly stated that i have to provide indian mailing address to receive my passport back.

My first concern is that can i post my indian passports in courier from uk to india (NDVO) ?
Second if they deliver it to my home address in Ahmedabad, can my family send my passports back to me by post ?

living in any country without passport is not advisable. check with indian embassy in uk , tell them you want to send passport at chc new delhi via currier or friends/relatives,they will tell you fact.

internation currier wont accept you passport for delivery and thats the reason NDVO asked you indian address,what in case if chc keep your passport for long time or what if your friend or relative loss the passports..you will be in big trouble. you have to do Medical test in UK and come back to india once your Medical test report reach NDVO. go to NDVO personally and tell them that you want to return UK ,show them tickets they will stamp visa and deliver to ahmedabad in a week.

this is possible and one of my friend did the same process in 2011.

Pl update & suggest alternatives

Hey friends,

Got this message yesterday! after more than 6 months of applying!

I worked for SIEMENS which did not provide me reference letter in required format and no points were awarded for it.

Can I appeal against this decision pl suggest good lawyer..

Also If can suggest or perhaps help me in getting arranged employment once you are in canada, I shall be immensely thankful.

I was not able to contribute much to the forum due to undue stress from the delay(6+ months at CIO is huge) . But from now onwards I shall endeavor to contribute to the forum.

I have now completed the assessment of your application for a permanent resident visa as a skilled worker. I have determined that you do not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

Subsection 12(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) states that a foreign national may be selected as a member of the economic class on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada. The assessment of these requirements determines whether a skilled worker will be able to become economically established in Canada. The criteria are age, education, knowledge of Canada's official languages, experience, arranged employment and adaptability.

You have not obtained sufficient points to satisfy me that you will be able to become economically established in Canada.
Subsection 11(1) of the Act states that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or for any other document required by the regulations. The visa or any other document may be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act. Subsection 2(2) specifies that unless otherwise indicated, references in the Act to “this Act” include regulations made under it.

Following an examination of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and the regulations for the reasons explained above. I am therefore refusing your application.

I just checked my ecas..it says processing started on 27th jan..i havent recieved MR yet..i hope we all get thr golden mail soon...the wait is killing me.Also i added my bub to the application on 28th jan..not sure if that will delay d processing..lets hope for the best!!

Cap may not reach till April.... His chances are good...about 5000....according to other forumites...Never.

Hi, As i know courier companies can send passports only to high commissions not to individuals or any companies. You can send your passport to NDVO from UK. But your family can not send it to you by courier.

Hi all

Hip hip hurray

I got a mail from NDVO that I will get my MR docs shortly and have requested for PCc, passports and the fees.

But I have a doubt, I have sent all docs for my new born (who is now 3 months old) which Ndvo has received on Jan 4th. But the mail does not give a clue that they have included my kid in the file. What to do? As I have time only till April 4th to send all the docs. How should I confirm if they have included my kid? Is there a contact number to call Ndvo?

Please clarify.
