How many days approximately between RPRF DD sent n encashed???

I got the receipt 1 month after I submitted it to the VO...
Probably all the VO encash within the draft expiry time..

thanks for the replies...I have one more query...I did my medical yesterday...and hospital(e enabled) has provided me information sheet as proof of medical....on that sheet it is written that medical are not complete yet they will be completed till all reports come...they have told me that it will take 2 days for all reports to come and they will upload my medical in two days...so my question is...should i send medical information sheet, passport, RPRF now or should i wait till they upload my medical because as per medical information sheet my medical is still not complete....

I have sent all my docs (Medical IME forms, RPRF and Passports ) to NDVO on 27th Jan by Blue Dart, and the same are received at NDVO today morning. Admins, please update my info.

Now the final waiting for the passports with the visa stamping on it starts........

I dont know about medical information sheet. because I didnt send any medical sheet to VO..all the medical reports were sent by the hospital.
yah it took 3 days to sent the report..( usual period ). you better send the PP & RPRF now...

My RPRF draft issued by SBI is having 3 months validity....is it sufficient?will it be en-cashed by NDVO in 3 months time?do all demand drafts have 3 months validity?

By God's grace your dd will be definitely encashed within a month. No worry for 3 or 6. Data suggests that.

Dear Applicant,

As per RBI guidelines,

Case 1 :- By default, when you make DD in INR is valid for 3 months only as it is going to operate in India. Ya! you can specifically request to any bank (no matter it is nationalize or private) to serve you for additional validity by paying some extra administration cost on DD making charge.

Case 2 :- By default, when you make DD in other currency than INR is valid for at least 6 months as it is going to operate on globe level. Ya! you can specifically request to any bank (no matter it is nationalize or private) to serve you for additional validity by paying some extra administration cost on DD making charge.
