I don't think so it is possible. There may be no harm or affect on their application by making such request but it may irritate the VO which could end-up with a tough interview.

bro ...dont do it unless its badly needed...bcoz this immigration process is so tricky...some people never got any call and left out for ages and still no good news for them....you got the news and you are one step away...so just go where ever they call u and finish ur interview. dont do anything that may delay ur process...nothing wrong in asking but why do it when some very funny things happen in this immigration process where people lost it bocz of no mistake of theirs

Does anyone know if the cc was charged on december/10/13 and I am still waiting for the PER or File number? I am NOC 3211 and not sure if my cc was charged and whether I will be count in cap or not? Should I wait for few days or contact CIC for any delays of PER?

VOs are human beings not machines and human beings exist with different natures and habits. No one knows the nature of his/her VO, therefore we must be careful while making any request.

Just imagine if an employee makes a request from his/her HR to raise his/her salary and he/she knows it is almost impossible. He/she may be included among those to be terminated first when bad time comes on the company.

We need to analyze that LVO is taking care of many countries and it is very difficult for the VO to visit so many countries to interview few applicants. It is easy for VO to invite applicants from multiple countries to a centrally located embassy and also better for applicants in terms of processing time. I agree that it will cost an handy amount for the applicants coming from out of UAE but we have to live with it as there are always certain compromises which we must be ready to make.

If you can afford to spend time and money for the visit ( which i am sure all applicants can & will ) don't ask them anything, just do what they say.
remember the line they use for PR....." Getting Canadian PR is not your right, it is your privilege "...so all the best.

Dear Forum Members,

NDVO is visiting physically to verify work experience & other application data while LVO is inviting applicants for the interviews. I feel that interview is a kind of replacement of physical checks as it is not easy for LVO to visit physically to verify work experience & other application data of different applicants coming from different countries.
