I am yet to receive my MR and passport request. However it looks like I will have to travel outside of India for a few months. What are my options in this case?
Can I send my passport to them while I am outside India? Or I can get more time from CIC to send them the documents?

yes cic letter will confirm the date of receipt and will also hv your uci no...it will clearly state the reason for file return...

Thanks for answer, how can we confirm when the cap reached? I mean will the letter state date when cap reached also

It's in Abu Dhabi, UAE and I live in Pakistan :-\. It was scheduled on January 26th, and than changed to February 26 for obvious reasons. Received Email. No ECAS update.

Now I have to arrange for UAE visa & tickets & stuff just for the interview.

In the attached document, they have asked for everything updated. Nothing specific, so I am guessing it's just generic interview.
