I have not included my job duties on a company letterhead in my application for NOC2134 that reached CIO on 20th Dec. I am afraid i might get a rejection based on that. I have managed to get the job duties from two of my employers. My query is, if i send the reference letters now, is there any chance they will merge it with my application. I will provide justifications for not being able to attach them in my original application, in a seperate cover letter. and what else should i mention in the cover letter?

I recommend to send it right now Make it fast before your application gets accessed by an officer.

As bhFSW2174 rightly said it all depends on luck and the discretion of the CIC officer.

I would suggest you to send it and try your luck.

What an expensive omission. My friend it doesnt really depend on luck. If you send it ON TIME, it will be merged because i know more than 3 people that sent items that were merged. My only concern is that if your application has already gone through the completeness check, then i dont think they will merge it since they will deem your file incomplete at that point. CIC is clearly working on December 2nd week or probably 3rd week so i think you are running out of time. Send it in as soon as possible and hope your file hasnt been assessed by the time it arrives. Are you scoring 67 points by not considering experience of the employer from where you didnt got duties letter?

If yes then dont worry and no need to send. otherwise its all depend on case officer.

CIC usually need duties letter from all employer to check whether your experience is counted in a,b or o level. if so then they will give you points for experience.

Though my total score claim is 77 points, and i have submitted many supporting documents to claim my work experience, i did not provide a letter in the required format. my point being, i could have requested my previous and present employers to provide such letters, bnut my agent said it will suffice and that he has handled such cases with positive result. but i feel he is worng in his assumption and i dont want to take any chances. I am sending them today itself. hoping for the best.

Mates I need a quick suggestion. I have got the PER in July 2013 (myself, wife and a kid) and now have to send the updated package to LVO with addition of new born second child.

Should I use the allotted UCI number to me in the generic form for myself, my wife and elder kid that were included in the earlier application form or should I use the UCI for myself only and left the UCI spaces blank for my wife and kids ?

In my opinion you should use the UCI for yourself only and leave the UCI spaces blank for your wife and kids.

Yes, I also think so. Do whatever that is in your hand. Sending the updated cover letters may work to your advantage. I also had a similar quandary, when I had obtained revised letter from one of my past employer. After a long dilly-dallying I ended up sending it. I got my PER/ AOR eventually, and I would always like to think that they merged the letter with my file that time. Regardless, I felt a peace of mind after sending it.

Very true my friend, i may or may not get the PER, but while i have some time, i think i should do whatever is in my hand and leave the rest to fate. and good to hear your positive case... i also may experience some peace after sending it... i just hope i am not too late...
