Hey All,

My application was returned today saying my job duties are not aligned with NOC duties.

It said "The employment letters from xxx and xxx do not provide sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties. Therefore, I am not satisfied there is sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation described of the NOC."

Now my question is - does the job duties in the letters should say exact the same thing as per their NOC job description ? Can i now modify the letters and re-submit the application ? what are my options ? Please advise.

The same thing happened to me in May. You have to included everything that it has asked for in the General Application guide. job decription, pays work hours everything. We didnt put he pay and work hours so got refused. If you correct everything and reapply. It will be considered as a new application.

Guys, please I need your help. I just checked my ECAS status using my UCI Number and it shows "In Process". When I click on "In Process" I get a message saying "We received your application for permanent residence on November 18, 2013". Can I confidently say my PER is on the way?

hi, members please help us me and my husband are very much in tension as we don't hire any consultant.
my first question is we are the family of three me ,my husband and our son.on 11th jan we got mail from NDVO regarding medicals in that there is attachment in which NDVO tell us to deposit fees,medicals and passport.my question is in that attachment NDVO mention my husband name as he is primary applicant and NDVO didn't mention my name and my son's name.
my second question in that mail NDVO say they will send another mail in 48 hours about medical forms and instructions,but till now we don't get any mail.
please help us in this situation.

I have recieved an e mail from CIC on 23 aug 2013 that they have sent back my application bc of cap but till date I did not recieve my application I am getting worried now I have sent many follow up mails but they r saying we already sent it back.
Is any one recieved back application ESP applicant from Saudi.

Hello Everyone,

I have a question with regards to applying under the Federal Skilled worker's category. I have been working in Canada for nearly 6 months now as a full time employee on a post graduate work permit. I have been considering applying under FSW - arranged employment and I recently received an offer of employment letter from my employer to support my application. However, please note that I do not have a LMO to support this application and my existing work permit expires in another 5 months.

What I'd like to know is if I can go ahead and apply under the FSW - arranged employment category without a LMO (as I have a valid post graduate work permit)? If not, I will wait to gain 1 year of employment and apply under CEC.

Thank you for the reply.

I just spoke with CIC people and that's exactly what they said, that re-apply with corrected information and they'll treat it as a new application and process it from scratch.

However, my question is for the job duties, can i put exact the same thing under NOC or we need to re-phrase it and stuff too ? Not sure how to write the job description. Please advise.

Dont get panic diode...First of all many congrats for ur medicals...Yes in the mail only prinicipal applicant's name will be there...but u 3 shud get medical forms ....think u will get in a day or 2...but nothing to worry...

U already got the golden mail...so from hereon it goes smooth and will be the last phase...just think of other members who r waiting since May...so thank god for ur golden mail and wait for the forms...They r on the way...
