last name in my wife's passport is her father's name.
i have marraige certificate
is it still mandatory to renew her passport with last name of mine? because it will take some time and i dont want to wait anymore
if i am not going to change my wife's last name in her passport what other documents should i attach to strenghten my application.
Beacuse i have read NDVO office requested one of forum member's marraige photo?
What to do please suggest.

Thanks amit. But I believe a relieving letter from previous organisation and appointment letter from present organisation would still be required to be submitted.

Also, does 'IMM 5669E Schedule A - Background declaration' Point 8 - Personal history require an update and be sent to NDVO OR should I raise a query with NDVO first and act upon their request?

It is about time I must receive MR. I'm not able to anticipate what impact it might have in case I provide them with no update at all or in case I decide to provide them an update now.

I think sending a query to NDVO, regardless, would be a good idea to keep a record to yourself. This would prove that you had done the due diligence. I had a query about the PCCs for which I used their web portal for inquiry. I got the response from Delhi immigration mentioning that I don't need to submit anything at this time and the office will contact me at the opportune moment.

I am really clueless not pessimistic though. I am 16th May applicant and there is no status change till now. 83 days have passed by since AOR from NDVO. Not sure whats happening and when will this wait come to a closure.

Looks like there have been no background check also done with employeer till now.

Its been very tough road through out.

No it is not mandatory to change the spouse last name to your name. I have the same case and even I used her old passport. You can use her educational documents, marriage certificate which I have sent.

I need urgent advice,

I submitted my application but made a blunder, didn't submitted form IMM5669 for my wife.

Please advice that how can i submit it now?

I am pretty sure that without this form they will reject/return my application.

I send my application on 1st Nov and received them by 4th Nov.
