That's right. Similar experience I had where my wife's PCC is delayed but I got on time. Only difference being my passport is less than 2 years old. So looks like guys (NDVO) with Passport older than 2 years should get working on PCC right now even before MR call.

I think something has changed. I say this because my wife got her pcc in 90 mins flat and her passport is older than 2 years.
BTW.. Anyone with ARN printout for PCC can walk in between 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Monday to Friday and get this done.

I have a question to those who god MRs from any VOs, have any of you had lived in two or more countries? in other terms, if you were living in one country (or in two including Canada, UK, US) does this speed the process?
On what bases early birds have not got an MR from NDVO so far. have they lived in many countries which makes the security and background check more difficult which is the same case as mine!!

I was in Australia for quite a some time ...i donno whether this has anything to do with me getting MR soon ...but i got it .
More over I work in an MNC which is a public listed company in India.. with 6+ years experience.. may all this factors need to be considered... ...and I think I am the first person among NDVO forum members to receive MR from 2147 category ...

Yes, you can send email Enquiry about application at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca asking about your application number, they will reply within 15-20days
provide all details like passport no, your full name, birthdate, app received date and recepitant, NOC code etc in that mail

Guys,

I don't think that the Visa Officer has any idea about the applicant before opening his/her application. It is also very strange if Visa Officer is screening each application to choose which one to process first. I am pretty sure that he is following a queue system.

If there is any priority given then it must be given by CIO at the initial selection & processing stage. This priority could be given on the basis of applicant's work experience in developed countries like Canada, USA, UK etc., applicant's education from good ranking universities, spouse's strong infinity to work and add to Canadian economy etc. If there is such priority exists then it might be a bundled priority but not an indiviual; I mean to say that if an applicant has one or more factors to be prioritized then his/her applicantions goes to priority box while rest of the all applications go to regular box. Now Visa officer can know which applicant has the priority and which one not.

This is just my thinking, could be totally wrong.

Did the visa offices request for your current and valid passport only or did they ask / need for all your old and expired passports as well?

Any idea about London VO requirement? Do they ask for old/expired/previous passport as well or no?
