Dear Friends,

I want to share with you this wonderful news...

This refers to your application for permanent residence. In order to continue the processing of your application, please provide us with the items listed below for you and each family member who will be accompanying you:
- ORIGINAL passport with a minimum of 12 months remaining validity and at least two blank pages;
- proof of payment for Right of Permanent Residence fee (original Visa Link and the teller receipt: www.bucharest.gc.ca ), if applicable;
- 2 recent photos/person as specified in the application guide; and,
- height (in cms) and eye color of each person.
Please ensure that the above items, together with this letter, are sent to the Embassy within the next 30 days

Not quite sure what AOR actually is??? I applied from the UK but mentioned NDVO as my office. My file has been transferred to NDVO on 5th Sept.2013 and I recieved an acknowledgement in PDF file attached for it, It read like this :-

Dear xxxxxxx:
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada received at this office on
05/21/2013 (mm/dd/yyyy) We confirm receipt of your application package at the Visa Office in
New Delhi. You must quote the file number above in all future correspondence with our office.
As your application has been determined to be eligible by CIO Sydney you are not eligible for
any refund of the processing fee should your application be withdrawn or refused by the visa
office.
Processing time
Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to,
require an average of 10 months to process at this office. If you have not received any
instructions from this office 6 months after you submitted your full application, you are
requested to contact this office directly.
......................................... and so on

Is this called PER what I have recieved? I have got a UCI no. which is a 8 digit no. and an application no. starting with E followed by 9 digits

PER = positive eligibility result received via email by CIO (1st stage )

AOR= application of receipt received via local visa office (2nd stage )

Dear forumites, I hv got a case of one of the 2013 FSWP applicants where s/he got 66 marks by VO even though PER was issued by CIC. really a point to ponder. All silent VO candidate, pls shed some light.

PER is like this

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on May 4, 2013. Only applicants who meet the criteria specified in these Ministerial Instructions are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.


Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on May 4, 2013. However a final decision on your eligibility to be selected as a federal skilled worker will be made by a visa office.

Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.

Thanks maina, so it seems I have got my AOR on Sept.5 itself! but still nothing has happened so far?? I dont know how slow these people work, i'm trying to get my UK address changed to my Indian address, sent them a mail 4 times but still nothing??

i know they r pretending so dead.. i sent them an email .. may b one and a half month back n till date no reply..

i think u shud send them via post or courier your request.. may b dat can help.. but nt so sure

Is it possible to send via courier to NDVO any changes I want to incorporate in my file, like address, passport no., etc?
