I just read that CIC is increasing the cap by 200 application under CEC which will be effective today.
Can this help us in any way..?

And Also, is there are number we can call or email to ask for the application status? Mine is sent in August.. not sure if this will be accepted because i think the cap was already filled..

Hi, a friend of mine applied but CAP is reached and he is waiting for his file to return, he wrote for his wife that she is "unemployed" as there is no score for spouse work experience.
However she wants to apply for another NOC in the list where she has experience in.

Do you think there will be a problem that the husband wrote she is unemployed in his unsuccessful application?

Guys,

My visa consultant made a mistake while filling the "additional family information form of spouse". In that form they kept the first name and a part of last name of my spouse in reverse order. For example, in all other forms and documents it was "Reshmi Madhav Nair Kollath" but only in additional family information they kept it Kollath Reshmi Madhav Nair". Is there any chance that CIC reject my visa for this mistake? When I asked the consultant they said this small mistakes won't matter for CIC. Please advice... :'(

I think they will over look this small mistake, and it wil not effect your application. Hope for the best

please reply where can find the spread sheet, I have confirmed from bank Nd DD was nt encashed yet, my application received at sydney 22 july for 2174 code, and I am still a hope for +ve reply from them and here a good news from there, please let us know, pray for us

I have been waiting for MR email from CPP-O. I checked the ECAS almost every day. Today when I checked I found the following:

Client Application Status
Permanent Residence
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 28, 2013.

2. We started processing your application on November 6, 2013. This is new line added. However I have not received any email on November 6 or later. I also checked the spam folder to see if the email was in there, but nope.

Has anyone had such a situation, who had their status changed but it took a while for you to receive the email? I hope I receive the email soon.
