I have received my application back on the 28th of ict n the reason stated for the return is cap reached 300... good luck to all those who r still in the race n also to all those like me who didn't make it to the cap this time guys better luck next time...

The address stickers are clear with proper and complete instructions and with a clear NOTE that one category must be mentioned for which applicant is applying. I didn't find any confusion in that part of the instructions at least.

As per my understanding, you need to provide the ECA report for highest degree only, if it is obtained outside Canada. In this case, he just need to provide copy of Canadian Master's degree along with the transcripts.

no, you have to send your bachelor degree and if it's not obtained from Canada, you have to submit an ECA report as well.

Hi All,

My wife has applied for FSW 2013 and application reached Nova Scotia on 9th Sep-13. Unfortunately 2147 Cap has been reached on 1st Week of July as per Forum Update. Hence, Application will be returned unprocessed. There is very less hope that FSW 2014 will open next year as assuming CIC will start EOI from Jan-2015. Here are the my main concerns and I desperately need suggestion from Seniors and experts.

Plan A: My wife can apply for 1 study year in CANADA and she will get 2 years Student VISA. Also I am eligible to apply Dependent visa, I am assuming that chances are 50-50 for getting Dependent Visa. But, need to invest around 10-15 Lakhs and my wife will need to stay alone around 6months-1 year. After that she can apply for PR again.

Plan B: Need to wait until CIC opens FSW or EOI start in Jan 2015.

Please suggest which plan is better because we are desperately looking to migrate to CANADA.

Note: We both are working for good IT company in India and earning good enough to Survive in India.

My app reached on MAY 22, NOC, 2263.
When everybody was talking about Passport and medicals who applied along with me, I was down ,but not out
So dear friends, perseverance pays and even though I applied for a duplicate report of WES, every penny is worth!
Best of luck for all those waiting for PER and AOR, including me form today!!!!!!!

you will be awarded points only for the NOC related work experience for which you have applied.

He will get points for all if his experience. 1 year under eligible NOC is to be eligible. Remaining experience will give him additional points if that work is under sone other NOC with category 0, A or B and he has submitted proper experience letters as proof

But regarding to [To receive points for your education,you must provide evidence that you have completed a Canadian secondary or post-secondary educational program OR submit an original ECA report for the completed foreign educational credential(s) for which you are claiming points from an organization designated by CIC. The ECA report must indicate an equivalency to a completed Canadian educational credential.]
So I have completed Canadian Post secondary educational program.
And according to this example
If Anna completed a one-year post-secondary program in Canada
Then she would submit proof of her completed one-year Canadian post-secondary program credential.
Also I think I do not need ECA.

you might meet the education requirements but it can be a problem meeting NOC requirements. You will notice that for each NOC, they look for a certain bachelor degree, for example, a civil engineer NOC is expected to have an engineering degree.
There might be other reasons as well, I remember I had this discussion with ICAS representative (one of the approved organization for ECA) and they explicitly said that I have to assess the bachelor degree as well.

I am no expert, but if I could afford to, I would go with your Plan A.

If all goes according to your plan and you get the visa, you could look for work and then possibly find a company that will sponsor you and then you could apply under the arranged employment, which has No Cap at this time! That's the route I would take.
