LVO always use postal mail (regular, cheapest, non registered) to send you any letters...However for any original documents they use Royal registered mail and for passport, they send to their local embassy first via their embassy mail and then local courier service for passport delivery.... The major concern is delivery of MR forms which they normally send through regular mail which is very silly n slow...

I will be sending my file for NOC 2131 on 7th October. As there are already 151 applications showing at their web site, can you please tell me the probability of reaching my application within cap.

By accessing my bank account this morning, I realized that I had been debited.
Charged on 03/10, processed by my bank on 04/10 and visible on my account on 05/10.

I am both happy and stressed for the PER.

Hello All,
I got a shocking news Yesterday from CIC that my application is rejected because i have not submitted the job responsibilities letters for all my jobs. Following is my case:
1. I have submitted my application under 2174 category. It reached CIC, Sydney on 30-May, 13.
2. After 8 weeks i called customer care of CIC. They provided me UCI number and said that mail has been sent to you. But i had not received any mail from them. Customer care indicated that my result is positive.
3. Since there was strike in CIC, i have not bothered much about my file during this time. But, i have checked status on ecas link for couple of times . It was showing me the status "In process".
4. But yesterday i got a mail from CIC that my application is rejected. Reason: This is written in the mail
"You were assigned 9 points for your 1 year of full-time work experience, or the equivalent in part-time work,"
"No points were assigned for your other work experiences because employer letters detailing the main duties for each occupation were not provided. Self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable evidence of work experience.""
5. I have submitted job responsibility letter for my 1st job( 1Yr) for which i claimed the category 2174 as computer programmer.
6. For my other jobs of 7 years, i have provided the offer letters and experience certificates. But they have not considered that jobs at all. In India all employers does not provide job responsibilities letters for immigration purposes. My point is that if an employer does not provide job responsibility letter then why it is considered as mistake of applicant.. Also, when these jobs are not for purpose of claiming category eligibility.
7. After sending my application, i have received job responsibility letter from another employer also and it is with now. I was having no idea that they will not provide the points for jobs for which i have not submitted job responsibility letters. Otherwise, i could have find the way to submit that letter too.
8. My other jobs are of Software Engineer and that was not for the purpose of claiming category eligibility.
9. Due to this reason( only 9 points for experience) my total points are 66 ( 1 less than the pass mark). :-(
10. My question to you guys: Is there any possibility that i can appeal against this decision? or do something??
I have job responsibility letter for another job with me now.
All other documents and forms are correct it seems and they provided the file number also in the mail.

Please HELP me out.

I am sorry to hear this .... What is ur ecas status now ? Is this showing decision made ? If this would be the case than it would be difficult for u to fight ur case back but I would suggest to resend ur application with all related documents. This will only cost the courier charges

Friends, Congrats to those who received their PER/AOR/MR/RPRF after my last post. I have few queries.

1. Is CIC contacting the company HRs to verify the authenticity of the Experience letter and the duties/responsibilities of the Applicant in the company? The reason for my question is that my company HR who had signed the experience letter and provided her contact details in the letter(for any further information) has gone for Maternity leave for 6 months(she is expecting twins and thats why extended leave) and there will be no one to cover her emails and desk-phone. If CIC tries to contact her and does not get any response then my application might go for a toss. Should I inform CPP-O about her leave or shall I just wait?

2. I got the FBI Criminal Summary report for myself and spouse after I submitted the application. Shall I courier that to CIC now or wait for further instructions from them?

3. What is the importance of the "Destination in Canada" that they ask in the application? Does CIC have any preferred destination for specific NOCs that make the case stronger? Can I change the "Destination" during any time in the application process and can I land at a different destination while there is a different destination mentioned in my application?

This forum has helped so many applicants because of the selfless help from other members. Hope that we all meet some day in Canada

Besides, I kindly would like to inquire from all CPP-O applicants who already got their Medical requests:
If you had initially submitted a police clearance (FBI) in the first stage, will you be required to submit a new one? under which circumstances a new one will be requested?
The clearance that I sent is dated April 24th and I am expecting my MR towards early November. Wondering if I should request another one right now...
