This whole thing abt Schedule 0008 form is really confusing cos as at d day I filled my form online, d form available on d CIC site was d one updated April 2013. I filled my form on 7th July and submitted on the 9th July. CIC received on 15th July. I 'm just wondering why they returned some applications due to outdated Schedule 0008. Comparing the two forms, I realise dey are d same.

how do u know they returned application due to this reason

Hi All (again),

I see the below text from the acknowledgement received from the CHC, New Delhi -

"
Let us know
If there is a change in your personal circumstances, such as the birth of a child, a marriage or
divorce, you must advise this office (see address, fax number and email address below).
You must also inform us of any:
1. Change of address, including change of e-mail address;
2. Change of immigration representative;
3. Request for withdrawal of your application.
"

As mentioned in one of the earlier threads, I have now relocated to Europe for my PhD. I intend to leave my "permanent address" as mentioned in my original application to CIC (since my parents still stay there and will inform me about any mail communication from CIC/CHC).
So, based on my present situation, the below details are changed from what I had specified in my application to CIC in June -
1, Employer details (earlier working for a company, now doing my PhD),
2, Residential address (earlier in India, now in Europe),
3, Spouse's employment details (since my husband intends to move to Europe soon, he is still working on job opportunities for here),
4, Spouse's residential details (presently in India, but will be here starting from October end),

Are any of these details required to be updated as well?

Luizmattos, Please remember that every VO operates differently though...and obviously at different speeds.

I'm asking that because I received the MR automatically generated e-mails, but I didn't receive any additional e-mail asking for proof of funds, the right of permanent resident fee payment or passports request and I'm kinda worried about that.

Heyy folks !! Hope all of you are doing fine.

Returned from Thailand this morning after 6 days and already see some 1471 new replies between my last read and now. I need to gather courage to read through all that......but I must first update you all.

Checked my GMAIL and found a mail from re-delhi-im-enquiry received 8 hours ago about delivery of my file to NDVO. There was a PDF attachment. (This is not the first time that I received an important information regarding my PR application at such a time when I'm already up to something but third; first with CC payment, then with PER and now AOR). Now I'm starting to believe that there is no such thing as coincidence !!!

Got to sleep a lot. CYA later.

Processing time
Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to,
require an average of 10 months to process at this office. If you have not received any
instructions from this office 6 months after you submitted your full application, you are
requested to contact this office directly.
"

This was the other e-mail that I received some minutes later :

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. We require the following information/documents in order to continue processing:

Proof of funds (CAD$11,115) that represent liquid assets that are transferable/available as settlement funds. Proof must constitute a banking or savings history showing account activity for the most recent 12 month period, and must also include proof of the source for any deposit greater than the equivalent of CAD$ 1,000. If proof of funds other than a banking or savings history is submitted, proof of the source of these funds must also be submitted. Please note that sale deeds and property assessments are not acceptable as proof of liquid assets. Furthermore, bank statements or letters are not acceptable if they do not show any history of funds. Failure to submit satisfactory proof of funds, including proof of source, may lead to the refusal of your application on the grounds that you may be unwilling or unable to support yourself and, if applicable, your dependants upon arrival in Canada. You have 60 days to submit it.

Above is a pretty stringent & awkward POF demand, If its in my case, would be Impossible for me to show 12 months bank statement, Can anyone clarify will a Gift made from parents be alright if included with sworn declaration as legal Gift Statement ? With money under my name in bank account ?
