Hello Vats!!

I have applied under 2147 category this year & received PER on 26th August. My passport will expire in may 2014 so i have to renew it asap (with addition of spouse name). Also, i got married in February 2013 so my spouse passport need alteration too..regarding surname, address & spouse name.

Queries are:

1. Should i move ahead with these changes ?
2. Or should i wait till AOR or MR?

I used old passport of my spouse which she used b4 marriage and it works fine. But i think you should apply for your passport which is going to b expired in May 2014.

U should definitely make changes in d passport. Medical request won't come before Nov 2013, so by that time u will get ur renewed passport.
I recently renewed my passport after getting PER.

Hmmm... Still i have not received AOR from NDVO, so it will take 2-3 months for sure (MR).. meanwhile i can go with these changes & apply for renewal of passports.

What I advise is you renew your passpost quickely and as soon as you got AOR inform VO
about your wife's passpost if it is still valid for @ 2yr than no need to change details

Yes, my wife's passport is valid till 2019.. so i think that's not an issue..

Hi Amit, DId you send any intimation to CIC after you received new Passport or Not?

Because, I have received PER with details of My Old Passport but renewed it in June 2013 earlier this year just after my application.
Let me know this....

One more query!!

This one is regarding funds that we have to show.. That have to be in cash deposited in bank or FD's etc... Do they also check running loan on individual etc?

My consulatant sent me an email saying that my application package has been returned due to incorrect Schedule 3 form . My package was initially received on 3rd July. Later on I realised that incorrect form has been filled . I called up CIC and spoke to the lady who said that since I have not been allocated a UCI number , it is okay to fill the correct form and send it. I did this on 9th Sept by courier. Form received on 11th Sept by CIC.

The package has been sent back with the letter dated 20th Sept.

Any advise by forum members. My NOC is 2132.
