my application was received on 12th june but have not received any status about my file for 2174(comp programmer and interactive media developer) Is this due to the strike? when i can expect for the status..??

The best way is to send them an email and wait for their reply. They will reply in exactly 20 working days.

Dollar East or any other registered money changer. they generally charge PKR 1500 as fee and you can get your DD in 2 to 3 days.
