from outside Canada dial - 0016139444000
select
1 for English then
1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to CIC then
1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
remember they might tell you we don't have access to the system, you should call them 1 more day, if they says again try it again.
tell them i have an application in progress and i want to know the client ID number.

Received PER on July 25th, 2013. And my lawyer says file is still at CIO queued up to go to LVO. So just get back in line n play the waiting game.

I received my PER on 14th august but the mail from CIC is dated 12 august. My lawyer wrote me the following:
"You file has been transferred from the CIO to the Visa Office in London for further processing. We will be sure to inform you as soon as we receive any new communication from the Visa Office on your behalf."
I dont know what they mean with that.

I applied for federal skilled worker on 18 May 2013 FOR JOB CODE 2263,but till date i have not got any responses from Canada visa application center Nova scotia,Canada academic qualification evaluated by wes is 3 Bachelors Degree in science plus bachelors degree in Education and my self calculated point is 68 .
i request all members ,friends and personalities please suggest me the reasons behind it because it is too much panic for me

In my package I included a note to my VO informing that my wife was pregnant at the time I sent the application.

Now the local VO sent me this:

Dear Sir / Madam

This e-mail is in reference to your permanent residence application, under assessment at this office.

We are currently reviewing your application and noticed that you have informed us of the birth of your son/daughter. In order to include him/her in your application, kindly provide the following documents and send to the address below:

- Birth certificate, photocopy,
- Recent photographs (x2) size 35 mm x 45 mm,
- Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) for the newborn (kindly contact the Québec office to apply for CSQ)
- Forms :
- IMM 0008 - Generic Application Form for Canada for you
- IMM 5406 - Additional Family Information for you and spouse
- Payment of the processing fee - informations here http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/brazil-bresil/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng

If you have any question, please advise. Kindly note that you have 60 days to send us these documents. If these documents are not received at this office no later than November 17th, 2013, we will process your newborn child as a non accompaning dependent.

I am considering this as my AOR.
