Why would someone ask question like this... You can post your question and any one will answer that... or do you have any Chandigarh specific questions?

Dear forum members, please don’t get angry on me for posting one more PCC related question, it’s a real problem.

I went to police station for getting PCC in advance (received PER e-mail from CIC on 7 Aug and nothing after that from NDVO visa office) and they are asking me to provide the embassy letter showing PCC request. Since I will be moving to US on H1 visa, so I thought of doing it from India only instead of getting it done from US (which is very tedious process).
Does anybody on the forum able to get PCC done without Visa Office letter?

Stark instead going to the Police station, the best and easy way is to get the PCC from the Passport office

I have done the same for me and my wife PCC submitted application with passport sevakendra website and went there by 9:30 AM and got the PCC in hand by 2 PM.

Hey all,

So the important question seems still unanswered about maintaining funds. The 6months bank statement that is being called for at the time of medicals, does it mean that if funds in your account were below the required mark during these six months for some time, application can get rejected even?

The VO wants to make sure that the POF which you submitted at the time of application is genuine. Your 6 months bank statement declares that the minimum required amount has not been lent by someone else. I guess applicants from previous years (MI2/MI3) would be able to provide a definite answer for it, as no one from 2013 applicants has passed this stage yet.

Seniors please advise...

But what if some of the required funds had been borrowed from someone at the time of application and returned later, but to meet the required mark the funds have again been deposited in the account in instalments over a small period of time. Would that be considered genuine?
