i wasn't as active lately, so i didn't read all the posts, but i'm wondering: are you saying that you are waiting for your SECOND application to be returned? if so, what was the reason this time? if you are waiting for the first set of papers, ignore my post.

WOW!!! when did you email and when did they reply?? because the June 4th applicant was returned due to cap being full, and you're June 13th applicant? cant believe it.

no need to happy as 2174 for sure gonna return but unfortunately cic is not telling truth as they are to return these applications but gav psople hope as awaiting for initial processing.my application recieved on 6 th june and no update thT my app is awaiting for initial processing. but i think it is not the case as they will return and then inform that they hav returned ur application.

I had Canada work visa previously and by reading on forum, i understand that you get UCI Number if you have previous visa, but how i would get that UCI Number, i have checked my Visa also on passport but i could not found any number? Please help so that i can atleast check my status?

hope u will get your answer from this forum.....i request ras you hv already 10 post u can be able to update ur profile ...pl update your basic detail like Noc code....application filed date....visa officr......per date....

Excellent question!!!!! l really hope we will get answer very soon. I am worried about same issue all the time. I am logging in few time per day and all the time it is same sentence.

I mailed CIC last month abt the application status to which i got the following reply :

Dear Sir/Madam,

UCI# 9XXXXXXXX

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on 04 Sept 2013 as the cap of NOC 2174 has been reached. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

Please note: all returned applications are sent via regular mail to the mailing address as entered on the application package. There is no tracking number. Once the application is mailed, its delivery is the responsibility of the postal service.

So my application is on its way bak..... On an avg hw many days it takes to receieve it by normal post to India???

Hopefully, I would be resending my application under NOC (Chemical Engineer) as i also had a year of work exp. from 2010-2011 in Chemical Engineering ;D
