My status online doesn't say anything about the file being transferred to the local VO, and with their union strike now, does this mean my application is stuck until they figure out the strike?
I thought the nova scotia cic, charges the initial payment and then processes my application and once I am approved then the file is transferred to the local VO for the PCC and medicals part (and the second payment), Please correct me if I am wrong about the processing process

I am almost ready to send my application under 2132. I am taking my chances and nothing to loose. Let us see if i fall within 300 cap. I am doing it myself. I have all the documents ready and filling the forms. I have few questions regarding filling Schedule 3 Economic classes : question 12 a and 12b.

1. my current job is Scientist/engineer at ISRO. I know I have to write 2132 under NOC in questions 12a. But do i write " mechanical engineer' under occupation or write "Scientist/engineer" under it ?

2. Again do i write mechanical engineer or job title ' scientist/ engineer' under occupation in 12b where i lists all my 10 years experience. ?

can somebody help me with above query??

i think becoz many people who got UCI starting from 9088 hav got per before and I think no 909 turn as mine starts from 9091 and hoping to get my per soon as by looking at ur case seems they started issuing per to 9091.

Yes, i was applied on 18.March.2009 (38 occupation), I got two file numbers from CIO and DAMASCUS visa office. after that my file transferred to WARSAW visa office and for a incorrect decision had been rejected on 12.Jan.2012, after 3 years. you can imagine my family circumstances at that time. I had written emails to 80 members of CANADA Parliament, but there was not any correct action, whereas many of my IELTS classmates got their VISA and at the moment are living there. all mentioned events was in incorrect action of my consultant that make that terrible decision for me.

At the moment hope again come back to our home, I hope that all forum members could perform a party in CANADA :-* :-*

eCAS won't talk about file transfer; none of ours does as long as their is no next update from the local VO themselves. Your app will be queued in the local VO and yes until they sort out the strike matters files would move snail.

CIC-NS checks your file for completeness first, scan details into system, generates a UCI if you do not have already else use the one you already had and then charges you the application fee. The eCAS is then updated and file is pushed for local VO.

Hope that helps.

Edit - Try calling CIC and get an instant update. Tell them you already have an update on eCAS but cannot make out if they sent you a PER mail. Ask them to confirm verbally or copy of PER over another email.

Just from the knowledge gather by me, what I feel that you should write your primary NOC Mechanical Engg.
Further, please confirm the duties that you are performing is near to similar as stated on hrsdc website according to NOC 2011 classification.
