Other option is, if you are using WES then you can add an option of showing ECA Result online to CIC and can also send and original Report to CIC

Thanks for the suggestion. My WES report already has that option. But will CIC bother to check with WES? I saw on the spreadsheet that one application was returned because of copy ECA so I'm expecting them to return without bothering to check with WES or ask for original.

If we send additional/updated documents or documents explaining discrepancy in the original application sent, does application received date remains same or gets changed to date additional documents are received? Forum members who have sent additional documents later kindly comment

yes , you can try there is no harm in that. but it is better to keep watch on cc or dd charge, it would be more confirm news for you rather than getting UCI.

Sorry to hear about your case.
Can you please share more information about ur case likee when did CIC received your application and when did you recieve it back from them.
And it will be vary helpful if you share what kind of generic form did you use ie. 042013 or 072013 as many member are worried about their application and generic application form.
Many member including me feels that the generic form was updated in august not in July as per CIC.

Your response on this matter can give hope to many applicant like me.

Hi, they received my application on 8th August and the cover letter with original ECA on 12th August. It should have been next day but Parcelforce/FEDEX delay meant it was a few days behind. I got the letter with ECA today, no date on letter but postmark on envelope says 28 August. There is no UCI.

I'm not sure about generic form but my documents weren't returned for that reason. They haven't returned my application, just the follow up letter.

No Need to send again. There is no change, except the footer. Mainly Files have been returned back, because people have sent old SCHEDULE 3 FORM. This Schedule 3 form has undergone lot of changes related to NOC, Spouse IELTS, etc. That is why the files were returned as without complete information they cant process.

There are absolutely no changes in Generic Application form. There is no extra information that CIC is asking for in the new forms. They need complete information and that you have already sent.

Also, as some forumite mention they are not accepting any follow up docs. Moreover, if you still send it now, your complete application receiving date may not remain the same.

Can anyone tell me when the Schedule 3 form has been updated. The one I send has details like this in the bottom IMM 0008(05-2013)E SCHEDULE 3. Any Schedule 3 form has been released after this ?
