MY DD was not having expiry on it, so i was in tension. I searched for RBI guideline through which i come to know in normal circumstances DD which has other currency to INDIAN rupee are valid for 6 months.

If anybody deliberately wish shorter validity for 3 months or longer validity for 1 year, in such scenario it has to be mentioned on DD as information for withdrawee Bank, as it is a deviation for validity.

If nothing is there on DD then it is by default valid for 6 months.

You must be feeling distressed because Jack Dawson got an AOR and you don't, but notice that he has no AOR:

He received an email from CIO informing his application has been transferred, but he got no communication from NDVO yet.

Admins, please give your opinion regarding Jack Dawson's AOR status.

"File transferred to local visa" is still blank for Jack Dawson. Lot of people have put forward their query to local visa office so as to get the status on their file.

yes correct so no point of WES for spouse, IELTS if you want\need increase score. if your score is 67 or above no need ti do anything.

Currently details are not with me but just checked updated e-CAS and also confirmed it with my immigration agent that he has already received my PER...

Hassan Brother,

When i had applied last time and my application returned due to points, The background form had a tick, where I had written my name in English ( no native language written there even, ) That means it was right and acceptable by CIC. This is understood by the fact that they do check and I had done a mistake by writing my Parents name and the CIC guy crossed it out and wrote it by hand that since they are not my dependents it shld not include them .

I hope it helps and CIC does not overlook , its the second place on our Background form . It cant go unnoticed.
But obviously we should follow what we think is best.
its just my experience my thoughts my opinions.
We all are good to follow whats best.

I never heard of a case was rejected because the application didn't include mailing labels, has anyone heard of such a case?

I am quite SURE you must not have heard of the hundreds of thousands of cases that are rejected by CIC for a variety of reasons. Its not necessary for us to HEAR. Its necessary for us to SEE and READ the CIC checklist which asks for these mailing labels currently. PERIOD.
