just chill friend...just resend your application with self affadivit for dob and get it notarized, and also send your travel form. I see your NOC will not fill soon, so just relax. also make sure when you are resending your dd is valid for atleast next 6 months from your date of sending (second time), confirm with your bank and resend it. I am sure you will make it. Just don't quit...give everything from your end till you get the PR. winners never quit.

thanx for ur advise....i am goin to resubmit my application coming 3-4days....

again i truely appreciate ur view...

Guys,

To my surprise, my consultant forwarded me AOR today (dated 27th Aug 2013).

Important point to note is that now NDVO has mentioned processing time of 10 months in my letter, whereas for other fellow forum members it was 72 months. My understanding on 72 months processing time in fellow member's AOR letters was Strike action. However, strike is still ON then how NDVO mentioned 10 months in my AOR. Also, I am 8th May applicant and I received PER on 26th June so unable to understand how they took such a long time (more than two months) to send AOR. :o :-\ :-\ :-\ :o

Another point, I got AOR is a PDF file. In which format did others receive the AOR - In plain e-mail without any attachments?

Summary -

File sent - 05 May '13
File Received - 08 May '13
PER Received - 26 June '13
AOR Received - 27 Aug '13
Processing time mentioned in AOR - 10 months

Looking forward for your thoughts on it.

congrats.. finally NDVO sending AOR:)

bt they also included a note ....
"if u r unable to provide ur bc or secodary school record which show ur date of birth n parantage ,please provide an affidavite which include ur date of birth...ur full name...n ur parents name......"

i am in big dillema ....wat to do now...?

the one thing i want to specify ...dat my birth certificate detail in english ....bt it is hand -written from authority....so dat is d main culprit......or what

plesae guide ........all views are too essential
It is NOT new that CIC do make mistakes and sometimes overlook the information provided. In any case, not having the travel form is already an incomplete app. I think handwritten BC is fine as long as it is genuine. Best for you to repackage your app with everything, fill the checklist properly, and I would recommend you writing a cover note explaining any grey areas. You still have time so don't panic. If you want added security, do the affidavit (as long as it is not time consuming). Good luck and keep the faith...

hello!

please see details as follows:

File Received - 03 June '13
DD encashed - 15 Aug '13
PER Received - 26 Aug '13

Kindly update.
Thank you very much!

Hello, I just want to ask if anyone from LVO had received this kind of reply after enquiry?

"Dear Madam / Sir,

This is in response to your enquiry.

Regarding EXXXXXXXXX

Your application is in process or waiting to be reviewed by an immigration officer. No further action is required by you at this time.
Our office will contact the applicant when a decision has been made or if further information is required. Immigration decisions and information requests are sent by post or email to the addresses provided in the application.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Yours sincerely,

Client Service Unit (VCM)

Haha, I love the "thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum". They clearly are telling people to bugger off until they contact the applicant.

hello friends,

Need to share one good news that today i got AOR from NDVO as below.(27th aug)

Processing time
Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to,
require an average of 10 months to process at this office. If you have not received any
instructions from this office 6 months after you submitted your full application, you are
requested to contact this office directly.

NOTE: earlier on 17th July i got AOR from NDVO stating as below.

Congratulations....Hope we all receive some good news soon as well

No processing will occur on your file for approximately 72 months. This is our current estimate;
however, circumstances may change. Please consult the CIC website for up-to-date information
on processing times at our office: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times-int/menuperm.
html You may also check basic case status on-line at the Citizenship and Immigration
Web site (http://www.cic.gc.ca) using the “e-Client Application Status” function that is found in
the “Online Services” section of the Web site.

As per my knowledge in this forum Me,Aditya_ & princess19 got that 72 month email.
Today i confirmed it with Aditya_, he also got email from NDVO stating 10 months processing today.

So today i am so happy and feeling relax.

Seniors,my question is how NDVO will process my file?i am sure they will process as per AOR issud on 27th aug then will they give first preference to files they received before 27th aug?(Note that my first AOR was issued on 17th July)

thanx in advance.
waiting for your reply.

Hello Sameerkpatel125, what is the consultants advise on the way forward for your application, especially on the Birth Certificate? I expect them to bring their experience to bare here... they cannot sit down unconcerned about ur app. rejection. Ur NOC is still open so re organise and apply immediately u have nothn much to worry about apart from the wasted time...
