Dear Seniors,
Am a June 18th applicant, when I called CIC today the lady on the phone got my first, last name and dob but unable to give me an UCI number. So that means they haven't touched my file yet? or it may got rejected?

From my experience I think they haven't started 18th june. When i called CIC for UCI the lady asked for names and DOB and gave me UCI. I think the person on the other side didn't had UCI in records after she asked for prereqs. my two cents.

They probably haven't opened your package yet..I think they are still working on first and second week of June

At last I manage to get my client id no. A gentleman answered my call ( I'm not lucky enough with the lady call centre agents maybe because I'm a girl as well) :'(

ECAS shows in process

The email I received Aug 16 stating that " An acknowledgement was send thru email on Aug 12, 2013( which I did not receive) and Your file is currently awaiting transfer to visa office Manila."

Were the things I'm currently holding on till now, no official PER email yet. I am waiting for them to send again that Aug 12, 2013 acknowledgement thru email.

Admins I don't know how will you update my case. Or maybe I am just excited to change my color in the spreadsheet ;D

I didn't check my ECAS yet, till saturday no update in ECAS
As they update on Tuesday , will check tomorrow.

But They had updated my info in IVR (CIC call center, after pressing option 112121, they ask for UCI number and After you put they will ask for birth year...)

They said they received my application on 22 August, while my DD encashed 20 August, got PER 26 august!

So keep checking CIC call center IVR at later hour of canada preferably after 4pm canada time

Check your junk mail, may be they have sent you PER email on 12th August.

Thank you daringnaren, maina and rawdah. I did check my spam/junk mail and no Aug 12 email. I am a bit confused where would that precious email go? :'(. CIO-sydney- search- enquiry manage to reply on my email.

Is the PER email an auto? Automatic? How do i call it? In which an email sent and you cannot reply on it.

Sorry I am very poor in computer thing.

My application (NOC 1112) was received by CIO-Sydney, NS on 30.05.2013. As the cap reached (probably 27.05.2013), I am sure that I did not fall within the 300 limit. So when could I get my application package back? Should I encash my DD by the photocopy?

Hello everyone...today I called CIC and after entering the 8 digit client ID...it says (for the first time)..."we have recieved your application on June 6th 2013..."

Even though ECAS still cannot identify me...

So should I be happy about it...or is it still too early?

I think you should be happy to the extent that cic has officially acknowledged that your file was received. I hope you get more happiness and land in Canada soon.
