I am in USA, I chose New York as the visa office. Why did you guys choose CPP-O?

Now I am panicking! I hope my application should not be cancelled altogether just because of this?

When I filled the generic form, I used validate to verify if I complete or not. I did not choose "the box visa office requested..." but I can validate my form. Is it ok to submit generic form without choosing the visa office????

Have you submitted or not? if not, than please fill in with the respective visa office. If application is submitted, than hope for the best.

It would have been good if you filled it, but if the form got validated than I am sure you are on the safer side.

He told earlier that he sent from us to canada via ups. That's why it reached there fast.

Quick question - Why did you choose your visa office to be New Delhi. Isnt it CPP-O if you are in the US?
CIC website says
"Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:

your country of nationality, or
the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one year."

I chose New Delhi coz I just moved to USA. You need to live in the country for at least one year in order to chose visa office applicable to that country. for USA it is CPP Ottawa.

Thanks Jignesh - I am in USA for quite a few years so I chose CPP-O. Having sent the application I thought I chose the wrong one

I cant wait for CIC to update the website and notify us as to how many applications have been received. I'm in panic state till then...... I really hope that all of us who ran around and paid so much to get things done early....get through this stage and atleast make it to the cap of 300 applicants.......
