I am a 2174 July applicant. I know I am out of the race this year. Did anyone get a PER by giving a reference letter from a collegue without the company letter head. I have worked in many companies. So in case I apply for other NOCs in the future , I am gathering information.

Seniors . Please suggest.

Hi, I'm not a senior member of this forum but I'll share what we did (I have a consultant) hopefully it can help you (I have my PER already)

What I did was I acquired my Certificate of Employment, which of
course is on company letterhead, to prove that I have worked for that company. Then for the duties and responsibilities along with the other details that CIC requires such as working hours etc., I had it written on a paper then had it notarized, my consultant told me we should do this, I think for the reason of proving that I am telling the truth about my duties and responsibilities. Then I asked a former colleague to be my reference, he made a letter attesting to my duties and responsibilities, and we provided his business card.

:D

even your reference letter should be only on company letter head signed by superior and it should be original and not notarized.remaining work exp documents should be notarized

Hi friends!

Urgent please help. I am new to this forum. I am not having D.O.B certificate as my parents didn't inform my birth details in local municipalities/panchayathi/village. I would like to know whether is there any other alternatives for Date of Birth certificate as a proof for D.OB which CIC will accept without rejecting the application? I am having only my 10th class(S.S.C) certificate as proof of D.OB but I have seen in this forum that one guy with username kumars got rejected as he submitted his spouse 10th class certificate. Please advice me. Thank you!!

Hi,

If you don't have DOB certificate ,You can try to get a Non availability Certificate (Form 10).If this certificate is not in English ,get it translate in English and get that Notary singed.

Nik, Pl reply to the request for information the Autralian programme.

I am a new member so I cant send PM to you but you can also post the information here for everyone's benefit.

Thanks for providing me inputs.

I did not follow the below part

Then I asked a former colleague to be my reference, he made a letter attesting to my duties and responsibilities, and we provided his business card.

Apart from the one you notorized, you gave another letter from your colleague? Or in the self declaration letter you made a reference of your colleague and he attested it ?

yes, only my work experience related documents were notarized, my Cert of Employment was on company letter head and signed/stamped by HR, I even have one signed by company CEO

hanks Faizzz , it is little bit confused , there are all papers need to send CIC , then CIC check and if eligible then send to VO . CIC website mention that clearly "" You will need to show proof to the Canadian visa office in your home country that you have enough money when you apply to immigrate.""
Here is who applied with agent they are facing lot of problem due to dishonesty of agent

Thanks SUSAN

Please see the link below
w w w . cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds. asp
It says as
You will need to show proof to the Canadian visa office in your home country that you have enough money when you apply to immigrate.
So ur agent is right.u need to show proof of funds to visa office

Dear Faizz, take good advice from seniors, like the one provided by fsw2174, and see what your heart says.. What are you going to loose if you proactively sent the information as suggested by fsw2174. Instead of interpreting the exact words from the CIC sites, it is better to be safe than sorry later. If I were you, would send the information as well after getting UCI. Most of us on the forum think that the proof of funds need to be submitted with the application. So, if you have not done so, take every possibility to fix that. The dream is too big compared to the trivial headaches of finding UCI and send a courier in addition. Completely relying on a consultant is not a good idea. Take his advice but do the homework by visiting such useful forums to avoid doubtful situation, too many good people are there on this forum who would like to help you any way.
