I am wondering if you are using File Immigration Number in your pre-2008 application to login? If you are already keen on your present application so it is better to apply for the cancellation of yoru old file application.

i think the only person to answer your query is CIC. why dont u send an email to them. They would probably give you an update in your old as well as new file

One very complicated situation.

I am an applier of May 29th. I didn't know we had to put a UCI number, even if we have it from a Canada Student Visa. I knew it as, we should put UCI number, if we applied for Permanent Residence before. Even I didn't know I had a UCI number on my several Canada Student Visas. So, I left that info blank on the form. I don't know this is a big problem.

My application received on 29th of May. But my credit card hasn't been charged yet. And no emails from CIC. And no mails either.

After finding out I have UCI number on my 3 Canada Visas (all have same UCI number of course) I put my UCI number and personal details on this website, just to see something;

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?lang=en

But I get this page, when I put my details;

sponsored a member of the family class;
applied for permanent residence from within or outside Canada;
applied for a permanent resident card (replacement or renewal);
applied for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship);
applied for Canadian citizenship for a person adopted by a Canadian citizen (on or after January 1, 1947);
applied for a citizenship certificate (proof of Canadian citizenship);
applied to renounce Canadian citizenship; or
applied to resume Canadian citizenship.

What do you think about my situation? Did I do bad, by not putting my UCI number on application form? By the way, I sent the noterized photocopies of all my Student Visas.

Thanks in advance guys. And best wishes for everybody. ;)

I am also in same boat. I am 29th May applicant. Credit card is not charged. However, I was in canada for a business visa. I don't think it's a mistake. I also haven't put my UCI number. Do not worry mate.

If it's about CIC seeing WES report online, they will send an email and the person will be given few days time to respond to it as has happened with a few previously. After the person furnishes what is required by CIC will they provide PER.

But for the rest of the things, I do not believe CIC will be asking anything. They will follow 'Yes' or 'No' for any application at their level of work profile. That means if something is short they will return the app else process it further.

It is VO's responsibility to ask anything but that is beyond AOR.
I also opine the same like you.

What is your NOC?

any news?

We should be hearing from you soon 8).

Thanks for you support aabbhhii... ;)

zolter, my NOC is 2132 - Mechanical Engineer.

I didn't put my details on the excel form, because I've been onboard a tanker vessel, which I am working as an engineer. My mother sent my application from home, after getting WES evaluation, about 5 days after I joined my ship.

I don't have all the information with me, I mean the dates. And onboard, we don't have so much time to spend on the net and most of the times signal is not so good. :(
