It is not of anyone's business that others hire a lawyer or not, I believe, many people have lots of commitments and busy schedules and may hire other people to get advises they need in the time they need. There is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes, in some processes, money is not the main factor.
Like it or not, this is how it goes with many.
Sorry if it sound like keeping anyone aside.

Agree with you on this one. I know how frustrating + hard work it was to do the documents filling, collecting and than submitting along with full time job, and that too on full swing. Man those were horrible days, and I pray, it should get paid off now.

Time was short, and I was almost ready to hire Campbell Cohen for the case, but than dropped off, because I wasn't sure if I put a lot of money and than delay my case in order to make it perfect. So, I ended up doing myself and that too of with lots of headaches and sleepless nights ;D

we all have put in the hard work and anticipation from last year. checking each day CIC website for announcement. or even following jason kenny on twiter.but dont u feel on top of the world since u did it. yes it was me who did it doesnt it invoke a sense of fulfillment in you. thanks to god, we all have money to afford a lawyer, but i think there is nothing special in a lawyer. are we not busy and having a hectic life in this maddning world. but still u and i managed it. i am not criticizing anyones choice but its good to do it ourself.i have personally applied 3 times for FSW but somehow it got returned, my younger brothers got accepted and its now in the last stages waiting for PPR from delhi. And i was the one who instructed my brother how to fill the forms and documents. so its luck.
im not directing this to anyone but this forum is very helpful.

Yes Dear Jigzyy..I understand such a situation..
you wont believe I purchase printer at home! because I work from 9am to 8pm and return home at 9.30pm. so tired! and then I start working on filing!

you make good decision by not hiring cohen..I am not saying he is not good lawyer..He is good lawyer but certainly it take more time compare to filing ourselves.

what I really like for canada immigration is the process..as said by princeofdarkness ..the process is explained clearly and guideline is too good to fill the forms and prepare the docs.

2174 is accepted by CIC, Not 2173.

I send two link to make you aware what are the different job duties in this two NOC.
You must have 2174 NOC experience in order to send the application.
