It's been a long journey. In 2010 my wife was ready to apply for FSW and than the list of 38 NOC eligible occupations became the list of 29 NOC eligible occupations and mandatory IELTS was implemented to be sent with initial application. She got IELTS and another references for other positions that she was working on in order to be eligible for new occupation that was on the new list. We applied and there was a fee payment problem. Application came back and we applied again but quota of 1000 applications for her NOC was already filled at that time.

In 2011 she applied again and managed to get in the quota of 500 applications per occupation on time, but application was refused because job duties didn't match.

Now I got on the list of eligible occupations and we are standing good, at least at this first initial stage of processing.

Although, I received PER on 1st Aug but my ECAS status is not updated yet. Anyone on forum whose status updated after 25th july?

I also received my PER last Aug 1 and I can already see my details in ECAS. It says "In Process". Is it supposed to be different?

Wow... Happy for you it's always nice hearing these types of stories.

I was a 2008 applicant as well but my package was returned after 6mos due to the start if MI1. Then NOC 2174 has never been included in the list so I really didn't have the chance to apply... Until now ;D

Good luck to us and hopefully by next year, we will finally get what we've always wanted for years

NOC 2174...What is latest update?

No rainfall on friday... hope cic updates their site soon....

As per our spreadsheet...the last cc that was charged was for all received on 28th May. Anybody whose app receive date is later than 28th and if cc was charged, can you please update the spreadsheet...?

I dont know but there is a huge gap within his NOC , I guess , his file would have reached earlier

But somewhere in the thread one guy told that his friend has been charged of 31st also .

Dude...harmeet22 is under NOC 2147....
I want to know for NOC 2174....any idea ??
