I have one question. Why I am not able to see any status of my application on CIC website services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas. I have received PER by e-mail on August 7. Am I looking at the wrong place or it will be updated in few days? Thanks!

I read somewhere that it gets updated once a week. Mine isn't visible yet either so I guess we try again next week.

Dear Floxzy,
Don't make fun of people. I know it sounds funny to you but the guy is actually is in some serious trouble. I could remember a couple of days back, before your CC charge and receipt of PER, your comments sounded as if you were quite apprehensive about your application and it being returned. At that time no one made fun of your comments. I don't think you should do the same now even if you have received your PER.

Remember what goes round, comes round.

Just a friendly advice.

Just had a wonderful experience with Indian Consulate Chicago.

I went there yesterday at 11:45 AM to drop my documents for PCC.
Getting PCC From Indian consulate is 2 months process unless passport is issued by consulate in which case it take few days. Still its two step process
Step 1 : submit documents and they do background check takes approx 2 months
step 2 : After confirmation, submit passport and get PCC on same day.

They gave me PCC within 4 hours, I got the PCC at 3:30 PM on same day. I didn't know any one there nor I paid more money.
I was really surprised that they gave me PCC as I was ready to wait 2 months.

That is implicit if you select the FSWP package, as I did.

CIC is working ..on our applications in good speed....i spoke to them.....applications received by mid june will get open ...by 24 Aug to 5 sept...so take chill pill....and enjoy waiting ......hope for best ...for all of us....
