well MY dd was issued fro Royal Bank of Canada, Toronto and i thought it was because of bank i got my PER late, Till yest my Bank here in Kathmandu, Nepal told me that its still uncashed but in CIC mail its indicated that it was cashed on 25 July so you cannot just rely on your Bank as they are also unknown about the DD encashment. I sent them a mail and even called them yest but did not mentioned any information during the phone conservation however i got My PER after may 6 - 7 Hours of my Mail.

My brother is in canada....he called to inquire abt our file status on 6-Aug....a lady on the phone gave him a temporary UCI# 8 digits with a '-' in between and said system says 'application received' right now only...an email will be sent once file is reviewed...

Same here i keep on checking my emails whenever i get up in night, My laptop and cellphone sleeps with me on my bed
Not able to sleep for last 1 week...

Note: This is the second time I am applying for FSW. Last time I applied in March 2012 under NOC 3142. I got my PER in April 2012. But unfortunately I got refusal on 28th June 2012 from New Delhi. The mistake was done by Visa officer from ND. They miscalculated my points and gave me refusal straight away. So I reapplied in the current FSW cap. I am so desperate to move to Canada. Wish me luck guys..

Great man,,, thanks for the info, I am with RBC too but hearing that they are delaying the encashment for DD ... relieved to know things are fine regarding at least DD aspect.. Waiting for the PER.

I think you case is good now but will lose some points because of less experience. If you qualify then things will go very smooth ,a fast process for PT now.

What is the status of your DD in your bank. Did you call CIC?
