FSW 2013 and 2014 AMMAN Visa Office Only - Important

Dear Applicants,

Here I would like to create this forum to discuss our applications and learn from each. Many applicants are complaining that Amman Visa Office is NOT operative and co-operative. Also, there is a news that our applications are being transferred to Bucharest.

Here I want to be the first contributor in this thread.

Under CIC site, there is the annual VISA targets under all categories. Canada is issuing 250,000 visa yearly, some of them are under economic such as FSW Program. Unfortunately, the quota for Amman Visa Office is Only 9 per year !!!. See this link:

What do you think? Am I correct in this explanation?

Hey guys, I wish you good luck and I hope you all will get your desired immigration visas.

But what exactly do these numbers mean? Is it some kind of limit or what? To me it looks nonsense especially if compared to other visa offices around the globe.

i'm glad to found this link , i also applied at amman office and my application reached on 14th of july , you really made me worried with this statistic !!!

by the way i searched alot of links but i couldnt find a single applicant who applied to amman at 2013!!

i dont know if they are still transfering them to bucharest or they processed them , buecause if they will process 9 applications a year this mean we will need another 10 years until our applications start processing

Thanks for your contributing .... we need to contribute as much as possible to keep this thread alive.
For me, I have received PER recently - July 28, 2014... the next step is to transfer the file to Amman Visa Office and here the problem begins.

Someone - a week ago - added on the main thread that Amman VO is not fully operative and they are overwhelmed with Family and Refugees Files. You know that after Syria VO shut down, Amman is the Processing VO for Syria, Jordan and Iraq.

As you know, the purpose of this thread is facilitate and exchange information. Finally, I am thinking to contact Amman VO soon to collect more information about expected processing time and whether they transfer the file to Bucharest.

really happy to found you guys , but the question is , does anybody knows somone who applied in 2013 to amman visa office , did they also move thier files or
not .

i will also try to ask a lawyer who process cases in amman , maybe he could give me a better understanding on the object

Guys,

My consultant says that since Amman VO failed to process economic class immigration applications previously, he does not expect our files this year to be transferred to Amman VO. He said that all of his 2013 cliens' files were transferred to Bucharest and Warsaw VOs and few of his clients have already landed in Canada as we speak. So let's pray that this will be our case as well. In addition, I suggest that Everyone of us to send an email to the CIO to inquire about the VO which will receive and handle our files. And since CIO's policy is to answer the emails after 30 working days (six weeks) I susseget that we email them soon so that by the time they reply to us, or files would be already transferred to a a certain VO that I hope it will not be Amman VO.

Finally, thank you Jamal for setting up this thread and I hope everybody stated Amman VO in his application to participate in this thread.

Jamal, I suggest you inform the 2014 timeline thread about this Amman VO thread as there are few applicants there from Amman VO, additionally I suggest you create a sheet similar to the global one so that we have a concentration on Amman VO.

still my file did not been transferred!!!

I hope that they will send us to Bucharest since the processing time there is 13 months only

this is very good news , so i guess we will be all transfered to bucharest , i'm assuming your the earliest of amman who delivered his application to cic
