FSW 2013 acknowledgement letter

I sent my application for FSW 2013 on May 23rd 2013. I haven't got any acknowledgement email or letter so far. Does some one know long it is taking to get the acknowledgement.

Currently the applicants whose applications received by cic until 09-may are getting their Cc charged/ dd encashed. So you have to wait for another 3 weeks

People whose applications were received on 8th may only got acknowledgement a couple of days back. So I would say you should be patient for at least 60 days after your application is received.

I believe you should have attached a self addresses envelope for the acknowledgement

I believe there was no such requirement for attaching a self address envelope. I applied in 2131 category.

I think kewlCanada was referring to the self addressed mailing labels, which are to be submitted with the application.

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this forum.We just submitted our application (hopefully they get our application package at the latest by tomorrow). Given that there is still PAFSO strike, I am eagerly anticipating when we will hear from CIC regarding our application. Anyone who can tell based on experience how soon they acknowledge the receipt of the application package? How do they usually inform the applicant? (mail or email?)

Hello teej108

At present the average is 60 days before successful applicants hear their credit cards being charged. So be patient. They do not acknowledge the receipt of application package when it reached CIO. For that the proof of delivery by your courier is the only evidence you have that it reached.

If your application is complete in all respects then the first sign of success that you get is your CC being charged. As I said already this happens roughly 2 months after your application reached CIO. The CC charge is mostly followed by the first mail from CIC acknowledging reciept of application and a Positive Eligibility review (PER) or in rare cases Negative Eligibility review (NER)

If you use DD as your payment mode then the email comes first. DD encashment confirmation is slow.

FSWP - Application Status

Hello All,

I've submitted my application on 10 June 2013 under NOC 2147, and application received at NS on 14 June 2013. What will be the estimated timelines for the acknowledgment from CIC since, the application under NOC 2147 has reached 20, I'm a bit worried, if it mite get full before i receive my acknowledgment.

It means it would take months to even get the acknowledgment from CIC that they ahve recieved the documents?

Correct, probably about 2 months.
