All 2009 Applicants of Islamabad Pakistan are requested to please post updates on this forum.

We may start with latest Status of our Cases.

I myself have submitted additional Documents in May 2011 which were requested by VO through email.

Documents included: PCC, Proof Of relationship with Relative, Proof of Relative Living in Canada & Pictures.

Nowadays, my Address line keep appearing & Disappearing from my ECAS.

I submitted my complete documents to CHC Islamabad in July 2009. And my status remains unchanged since that time. My address also disappears frequently from E-case these days.

The prediction is that we (May ~ Aug 2009) applicants will receive MR within a month time. So keep the fingers crossed.

Great info! btw i have been reading the PPR Step 1 & PPR Step 2 letter. What is this about?

PPR-1 and 2 are the two steps fro visa issuance. After submitting medicals to CHC London, we will first receive PPR - 1 from CHC. It contains a set of instructions and requires you to fill a proforma and send it back to CHC London alongwith photocopies of passports. After submitting that to CHC, we will then receive PPR-2. This will contain an instruction to submit passports to CHC Islamabad for visa issuance.

Regards,

how you add details next to your name?? i am 2009 applicant.

khalid sb i am not too sure about steps of ppr in our case, as they already asked for updated forms and passport copies before sending medical request in my case. Did anyone here recently received one? was it through email or post

Dear jhasan

I shared this information based on personal observation. A friend of mine who is also a 2009 applicant, got his medicals first. thereafter, PPR-1 and 2 and got visa stamped on passport. The two steps in PPR are due to the reason that legally our passports cannot be send to CHC London. CHC Islamabad issues the visa, once you get PPR-2 from CHC London.

What is the general or Average Time taken by London VO for processing of MEDICALS RECEIVED to PPR-2 ? ... any guesses ?

well, they have no standard for that. It can be any time depending on individual case.
In my friend's case, PPR-2 was received within 40 days of submittal of medicals.

can you share his exact time lines along with NOC code with us. Also PPR-Step1/2 letter, are they both sent in post or via email?

regards.
