Thanks guys,

I think everyone is right but I would like to emphasize few points:

1) I have received a letter (AOR 2) from Immigration saying that this category takes average 10 months. If we won't hear anything within a six month from them than send an email to CIC.

2) I am sure FSW1 or FSW2 has significant difference.

3) See my timeline I have received 2nd AOR with in 3 months from CIC.

4) So far I haven't heard any additional documents required from CIC.

5) I am hoping we will get our PR within a year.

6) I also confirmed CIC Customer care center about fast processing. They advised yes FSW2 category takes less time compare to FSW1 application.

Any comments?????

Thank you,
Kapil

I think u r right Kapil because in my point of views, if IO would be happy with the documents then they require us to do all future steps in once ( Like sending MR, RPRF, PCC and PP etc.).....Please correct me if I am wrong....I am also waiting for 6 month to be completed from he date of my second AOR, then I am gonna ask my representative to send an inquiry to CHC.....

regards
Ritu

Hi Ritu,

I checked my 2nd AOR letter. It says: 6 months after you submitted your full application you are requested to contact this office directly . They count 6 months from the date that they have received your application. I believe they do not count 6 months from the date Visa office received the application. In my case CIC Sydney have received my application on may 9th, so I am waiting to for 6 months from May not from August...

If CIC Sydney sent our application to VO (Visa office) after 5 months than we do not have wait more 6 months. We have to wait only 6 months from the date CIC Sydney received our application.

Any comments or if I am wrong please let me know.

Kapil

Please find my updated timeline.

Thanks

Thank you very much for sharing your timeline :-) I am sorry I didn't understand, what was your visa office?

Kapil

HI Kapil,

I am in Canada, but I sent my application to the VO in Mexico City, instead of Buffalo.

Hi Kapil,

On my 2nd AOR, its clearly stated that category, in which I have applied average takes 6-12 month, if I have not received any communication in 6 months from the date of this letter then I can contact them directly.........so its 6 months from the date of my 2nd AOR, which is 19th April....dear.....

I don't know about Delhi vo but Sydney vo sent this information in the letter.....

good luck
Ritu

Hi Anish,
This is not true. Try to check the spreedsheet on the thread July 2011 applicants. Many who applied after this date have have got their PER. Your payment should have been deducted already though. If not, you need to write to CIC and query about your application.
All the best!

Goodmorning all, hopefully this week will bring us some good news,we are still waiting on MR,our additional docs was requested 26th July all was returned to VO within 4 weeks, here's hoping we hear soon. :)

Hi Kapil,

The Processing of the FSW2 application depends entirely on the visa office to visa office. There is a member called Louise1. If you see the processing time, it is quiet fast. So far what I checked it is almost the same processing time taken for FSW1 and FSW2 New Delhi applicants.

Best regards,

Robin

Louise's is not fast...its normal time...she applied in dec 2010 and got MR in july 2011.

There is no difference in processing time for FSW1 and FSW2.

Presently NDVO is working on Applicants who received 2AOR(from NDVO) in the month of March/April

i m in canada, and had applied from vo delhi.
hoping for the best for next step.

Hi RChettiar,

I am not sue about FSW1 or FSW2 Category timeline, I believe it should be some time difference for processing the application. One of my friend received a letter from CIC New Delhi and it says that average processing time is 12 to 15 months under this category (FSW1) and I have received the letter from CIC New Delhi and it says that average processing time is 10 months under this category.

I really don't know what's the true, whether FSW2 is fast processing or not??

Thanks,
Kapil

All,

I am joining this group with FSW 2 application filed on Sept 30th and application reached Oct 3 to CIO

Good Luck!
