From Visitor VISA to Study VISA while in Canada

Hi

I am currently in Canada on a visitor VISA (3 months) for a workshop.
I also have an admission to a Canadian University for graduate studies.
I intend to switch my Visitor VISA to a Study VISA while in Canada.

1- How hard will it be to go from Visitor VISA to Study VISA while in Canada?
2- Anyone in the same situation?
3- Anyone whith experience in that situation to share?

I don't understand why did you apply for visitor visa when you have an admission letter which is already half way towards student permit.

You got to give them some strong proof that you wont work after getting ur study permit! You are already on workshop so it might be difficult.

Since you're already in Canada why don't you call the immigration office and get direct answers for your questions. This would be the fastest way.

right now you have only visit visa, even you have 6 months visit visa for some studies you cant convert it to study visa
in all cases you have to go back to your home and should apply for visa

you can go at www.cic.gc.ca for it and will prove my statement
