from study permit to tourist visa in Canada

Hello,

I am currently living in Canada under a study and work permits.

Would it be possible to apply for a tourist visa before my study and work permits expire?

If it is possible, would it be too difficult to get one?

Has anyone out there done something similar?

It shouldn't be difficult. Just show CIC that you have enough money to stay and the reason.
