HI
I HAVE SENT MY MEDICALS ON APRIL 28th to london and am awaiting PPR. i am currently in oman . i need to go to india urgently due to some personal reasons and wont be able to be stay in oman for a fairly long period of time. there is no one check post that i will recieve . unfortuately i have opted for post to be a means of communication now i want to change it to email .

can i request it through a case specific query ?

will they acknowledge it that they have changed the mode of communication (i have heard they take a long time to reply back)

will changing this mode of communication lead to any confusion or delays?

I HAVE ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE LEAVING FOR INDIA IF NOT THE ABOVE MEANS THAN WHAT IS THE CORRECT WAY TO INFORM THEM TO CHANGE IT TO EMAIL. CAN I FAX THEM? IT IS AN URGENT MATTER FOR ME TO BE IN INDIA.

AS ALWAYS I AM THANKFUL TO ALL

THANKS IN ADVANCE PLEASE SUGGEST.

Re: FROM POST TO EMAIL.........QORAX ROCKY SENIORS PLEASE OBLIGE

It is quite natural that people have to travel to different locations during the process for various personal reasons. Better you can communicate with the processing office through case specific enquiry which is more covenient. Don't expect a reply. Hope they also prefer e mail communication.

Re: FROM POST TO EMAIL.........QORAX ROCKY SENIORS PLEASE OBLIGE

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CONFIRMATION IF I LEAVE FOR INDIA AND THE PPR IN LYING IN MY POST BOX I AM BOUND TO SUFFER WHICH IS THE MAIN WORRY. WHAT DO I DO

PLEASE HELP ME GUYS

Please submit your requirement through the web form available in CHC site. They would be happy to send the PPR through mail.
I have seen several cases in this forum where PPRs are sent through e-mail.
Alternatively, to be on the safer side, you may entrust some of your friends to check the mail box as a standby measure.
However CHC London normally takes over 2-3 months to send PPR in case of Middle East cases (fastest). I did my medicals in Dec 09 and still waiting for PPR. This need not to be your case and I wish you faster PPR through e-mail.

1. Change your address mode via online mode that is e-cas.
2. Send a case specific inquiry to them stating your problem and ask them to update it.
3. Send a letter to them via post requesting the same.

They should change it soon then

Best of luck
