From Passport Request to Visa

finally the long wait is over. my husband called that he will pick up our passport in their office. ;D. Our Ecas status still in process ( not updated). to all who still waiting for their passport to come, dadating din un. good luck and thank you.

PPR sent: Sept 27, at mag-isa lang po ako,single. No news as of now,kayo po kelan at abroad po b kayo,if u don't mind? kc po parang feeling ko verify talaga nila ang galing abroad....sana di nman matagal para nman mkpag christmas tayo sa Canada...pray alw

guys got a good new i just received my PPR today after 6 months and 4 days of waiting..... ;D

congrats po! we are same case......just go to the DFA Director's Office with your PPR snail mail,present it to the officer.Kasi kung magpapa appointment kayo sa DFA they will give you a more than 5 weeks for your appointment schedule mas matatagalan at sayang ang paghihintay.They will give you 10 working days for the renewal of your passport and it cost P1200.kasi ako october 2012 pa expiration ng green passport but the CEM recommended me to change it to new passport dahil machine readable na kelangan yata sa Port of Entry Vancouver Canada.God bless us.Think Positive.

i was a little confuse..my husband has a green passport @ has an expiration date of november 2011.. i email CEM to verify if kailangan iparenew ang passport niya @ the CEM emailed us back.,

No need to renew your passport.
You may proceed with the submission of the requested documents.

Hi Guys,

Just want to ask if normal lang po ba na medyo matagal bago ko mareceive ulit passport ko from embassy. Kasi sinend ko na po passport ko via courier last Sept 14, 2010. Yung courier po ba ng CEM is kahit ano or may specific sila na courier. Im afraid baka nawala nila passport ko.
