From Passport Request to Visa

Hi Guys,

I'll open up this thread so that everybody will have some idea how long will it take once your passport was sent to the embassy and returned to you with a visa. You can post your timeline too.

1) Steven2091965 - PNP category - PP sent - july 19, 2010 - visa received - waiting

Hi Steven, pls help me to answer my question, i sent my passport last May 24, 2010. Then they requested for my NBI which i sent June 25,2010. Just wondering what more they need from me? I am getting worried. =(

I tried to foned the embassy, but they can't tell any info regarding my status. Do you knw their email add?

I tried that email add of Canadain embassy, but there was an error, my message failed.
but i tried manil@international.gc.ca it worked. Do u think this is the right one? i'm confused=(

Maybe the NBI cert. you send to them is to old, don't worry they maybe wanted a updated one.

seyshane, what exactly do they say? Did they say "NBI Clearance certificate", coz it is different from NBI clearance. And you could get that from NBI-Taft, IRD by presenting your personal copy of your unexpired NBI Clearance. It's free!

baka expired na ang ipinasa mong NBI kaya humihingi cl ng updated na NBI..kc ganun din ngyari skin eh..
b4 ko natanggap ang medical request namin..ngemail ang embassy sa husband ko requesting for my new NBI clearance kc expired na daw ang ipinasa namin..i hope this could enlighten you..

hi guys.. im getting worried coz until now we havent receive our VISA yet.. even on ecas it still says IN PROCESS..
