Landed successfully at Peace Arch (Douglas) border point. Funny, quick procedure. Will dedicate a post at-length over the weekend. Stay tuned for tips.

Good luck to all awaiting decisions or landing!

What document should I take to border except PP and COPR?

Thanks

I had some error on COPR and emailed buffalo and got the following reply.

If there is an error on the visa / COPR in any field other than your name, date of birth, or citizenship, do not return the documents. These errors will be corrected at the port of entry.

this means u need return the COPR and passport, but wait for their reply, dont send any thing yet, just wait for their reply and follow the procedure they tell u.

Hi neptune01,

I started a new thread today describing my landing experience. Please refer to that for the documents :).

Good luck!

@Sanju1986 Do you have any updates?

I received my PPR on May 11th and it was received in Fort Erie on May 16th, so I am sitting right around 15 business days as well. Today E-cas shows "Decision Made", so hopefully it wont take another 2 weeks to get my passport back...

I am moving from my current address I need to get my passport back by this week coz m also starting my new job next week .. God please help me :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Hey Sanju1986,

I will be sure to update you as soon as I see anything pop up on Canada Post's website. I would imagine we wont see the tracking numbers activated until sometime in the afternoon (East coast time) as that would be near the end of their work day.

I definitely understand your frustration...my driver's license expires in about a week and half and I need my passport in order to renew it!

I saw one post at one of the forum .. his passport reached buffalo on 18th may .. i guess he mailed directly to buffalo and he got his passport on friday ... jus wondering .. we mailed it to forterie ... how long it would hav taken to reach from fort erie to buffalo

I am not sure how long it takes after it is received in Fort Erie to be delivered to the Buffalo office. From what I have seen previously, some have speculated that the Fort Erie post office is visited 2 times a week so I assume that you should add probably 3 business days (at least) to the date it was received at Fort Erie.

With that being said, who knows what has changed since the office has closed...maybe there are less pick up date? Hard to say. We are likely the last batch of passports being issued COPR from Buffalo and it seems like after DM shows on e-cas we can expect them to be back in Fort Erie in about a week.
