I'm sorry if I'm not coherent right now. Severely depressed with the halting of FSW applications....
Was waiting for July 1 or so to finally submit my completed papers to the embassy when the news hit...
Anyway, my agency told me that there's a slim chance for me to proceed and that's to apply with arranged employment.
However, I wasn't able to get more information out from them. I'd like to just gather information here first before talking to them again.
1. I haven't submitted my papers yet but so far I have them all, I only need additional documents for arranged employment
2. would arranged employment automatically mean working visa only? temporary worker?
3. I'm a nurse, my arranged employment will come from Helping House. They're not my employers, rather, they'll look for a family to hire me as live-in caregiver how many months will it take if I get my employment papers from Helping House?
4. When you say arranged employment, does it mean I have to work in line with my profession or can a company like insurance/call center can hire me?
5. tenatively, Helping House is offering $1,000 per month, as live-in I get to live *somewhere* (free board and lodgings) on weekdays. On weekends I have someone I can live in. Is the offer okay?
Thank you for your replies.....
