FSW arranged employement

Hi,

I am applying for Canadian PR under NOC 2173 (software engineers) category under the FSW program. I have an employer who is wiling to provide arranged employment, but it might take 3 to 4 months before I can get a positive LMO. I dont want to wait for such a long time.
My question is: Can I go ahead and apply under the regular FSW program without the "arranged employment" offer and later update/upgrade my application by sending them the job details after I get the positive LMO.

I would appreciate your input.

It is tricky. The only chance you will have is the time before CIC opens your application to process it. People have been known to send updated documents later on. But that is not the norm I believe.

If you already have 67 points without arranged employment, then you should not worry about it.

If you are applying under arranged employment, the approved LMO/LMIA must be included with your original application. Otherwise you should be expecting a refusal.
